What We Do NOT Use

Managing Cookies

Note: Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to MapLeads. Preference cookies can be safely disabled without affecting core functionality.
Chrome Extension Storage
The MapLeads Chrome extension does not use cookies. Instead, it uses Chrome's built-in storage APIs.
chrome.storage.local
The extension stores the following data locally on your device:
- •Your MapLeads API key (to authenticate extension requests)
- •Temporarily selected LinkedIn profiles during an active session
- •Session state (current page, scan progress)
This data is stored only on your device and is not synced to any server. It is cleared when you save your selection, manually clear it, or uninstall the extension.
chrome.storage.sync
The extension does not use chrome.storage.sync and does not sync any data across devices.
No tracking
The extension does not set any cookies on LinkedIn or any other website. It does not track your browsing activity beyond the active LinkedIn session in which you are using it.
